Le Grand Vignaud Gites offers comfortable family accomodation, set in a peaceful rural hamlet, with panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and woodland.
Ideally located within easy reach of Aubeterre, Bordeaux, Cognac and Royan, there are a wealth of interesting locations to visit. Or simply relax by the heated swimming pool, while the children enjoy the play areas and make new friends!

About Our Gites ....
With SiteMaker you can add your own images, music, text and links quickly and easily. The 'SiteMaker Toolbar' at the top of the page, and the 'Editor' which floats on the page, will help you do this.
There are four spacious gites, sleeping 4, 4, 6 and 8 (no fold-down beds!). Each gite has been recently renovated to a high standard, while maintaining traditional features such as exposed beams and charentaise stone walls. Each gite has a private patio/terrace, with barbecue facilities and the shared use of a heated, south-facing 11x5m swimming pool (with paddling section for younger children).
Onsite facilities include both indoor and outdoor childrens play areas and free use of bikes/tennis/badminton equipment.
We provide a welcome pack, which includes pasta, home-made bolognaise sauce, bread and wine to allow a convenient first-night meal. A specialized filtering system provides clean, refreshing drinking water.
If you are looking to purchase property in the area, we can recommend estate agents/architects etc and offer advice on building/renovation projects.
During your stay we are 'at your service' to provide information, book restaurants/activities and help in any way we can to make your visit enjoyable. Help yourselves from the large selection of books, DVD's and games on loan to guests!
